I have spent my life as a curious creator, explorer, and ultimately as a devotee of the truth. Those who are called into healing work have a long road of self healing to traverse before beginning to reach their hand out to help others. This has been my path.
The most honest thing I can tell you is that healing happens in layers and takes the rest of your life to fully explore and integrate. There are no "quick fixes", however significant sensations of inner relief can begin to arrive immediately. I have moved through my own challenges with developmental trauma which began in the womb and continued through my youth. These early wounds influence every relational pattern that one falls into through the expression of their personality, throughout their lives. I have spent years diving into my own depths to bring these deeply held patterns into consciousness and unraveling myself from their grip so that I could both understand what happened to me and gain agency over how my life would unfold going forward.
No matter which healing path you ultimately take, it is not a fast process, but an incredibly fruitful one that eventually reveals the why and how you ended up in the life circumstances and choices that color your day-to-day reality. These micro and macro revelations bring self empowerment online in a clean and clear way that aids you in honing in on what is most true for you, and how to follow a healthier, more peaceful and rich life with loving intimate relationships for the continued road ahead.
My personal history...
I was born a highly sensitive child, open to energies around me without protection. Nightmares were a nightly occurrence from the beginning and I was filled with fear. The family I was born into had no capacity to understand the needs of a child in my energetic situation. Ultimately, the intensity of my early days in life gave way to a litany of health issues. My physical body was always the place for deep emotional issues to manifest. I suffered chronic migraines from the age of 9, giving way into gastrointestinal issues, a stroke at age 24, auto-immune illness at 32, a complete shutdown of my body at 42. That ultimate shutdown was my doorway to healing body, mind and spirit. It's true for many people that unless they're on the brink of death they won't have the motivation, the fire for genuine change. That was me. Once I arrived at the choice-point to live or die, I chose to live and thrive. It was a powerful choice and prayer that continues to fuel and guide my every action today. My health story is actually common for those with a calling to be healers. It was a necessary path for me to truly understand this work from every possible angle and to have the ability to serve others in the deep ways that I do.
I know this life-long journey of the wounded healer well, as I traverse it myself. I am quite a way down the road from where I once began. I have been fortunate to study and train with some of the most knowledgeable/skilled teachers along the way to develop my own skills with supporting others to take their own unique journey in the most personally aligned and effective ways possible. Every individual is different, and there are as many approaches to healing as there are people. The journey that you take is yours, but the reality that we all come to eventually is that it cannot be traveled alone. We need many guides, teachers and healers to light our path, present effective techniques, to teach us what it is to have healthy communication and co-regulation in relationship with others, to witness us in the throws of our deepest grief, fear and full spectrum of emotions without needing us to be anyone but ourselves.
